01Definitions and interpretation
In these terms, "the desk", "we", "us" and "our" mean Starfall Circle, the operator of
this website, its terminal, its signal engines and its funded-account programme.
"Member", "you" and "your" mean the natural or legal person who accesses the page,
opens the cash desk, funds a seat or is granted any entitlement following a payment.
"Seat" means the bundle of access rights a member holds, whether that bundle is the live
terminal, the signal engines, the funded-account mandate, the referral entitlement, the
HackTools entitlement, or any combination of them. "Funded book" means the notional
capital the desk makes available under a mandate, expressed in US dollars before any
multiplier that the desk publishes on the access table. "Order reference" means the
short code the checkout and the cash desk show with a request, so that an incoming
payment or a payout can be matched to you. It is a label on a request, and nothing more:
it is not an account, not a wallet, and not a claim on a balance held anywhere on your
behalf.
Headings are convenience only and do not affect construction. "Including" and "such as"
introduce examples and never limit the words that precede them. A reference to a clause
is a reference to a clause of these terms. Where a figure is expressed as a range, the
desk decides where inside that range a particular seat sits, and states the decision in
writing before the seat is funded. Where these terms conflict with anything said on any
other page, in a video, in a chat message or in a screenshot, these terms prevail.
02Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen years old, or the age of majority where you live if that
is higher, to fund a seat or use the terminal. You must be legally able to enter a
binding contract, and you must not be resident in, or accessing the service from, any
jurisdiction where the promotion or use of leveraged trading products, referral
programmes of this kind, or the receipt of crypto-asset transfers of this kind is
prohibited by law.
It is your responsibility to establish that your use of this page is lawful where you
are, and to pay any tax that arises from anything you receive from the desk, including
any profit share, bonus, referral credit or rebate. We do not withhold, report or
calculate tax on your behalf. We may ask for evidence of identity, age or residence at
any point before or after funding a seat, and we may refuse or unwind a seat where that
evidence is not provided or does not hold up. Where a person funds a seat on behalf of
another, both are bound by these terms and both are liable for the payment.
03Nature of the service
The desk is a demonstration product. It does not hold client money, does not
connect to a custodian, does not clear orders on any exchange on your behalf and does not
manage assets for a return. The terminal replays a locally stored historical snapshot.
The signal engines compute from that snapshot. The funded book is notional: it is a
number the site maintains so that a mandate, a risk limit and a performance chart can be
shown end to end, not a balance you can draw against.
The checkout is real in the sense that it produces a crypto payment request with an
address, an amount and an expiry, and a human answers messages sent to it. Anything
paid is payment for membership, data access, tooling and the desk's review time. It is
not a deposit, it is not capital placed under management, it is not a security, and it
does not create a partnership, a joint venture, a trust or an agency between you and the
desk. No clause of these terms transfers any ownership interest in the desk, in its
software, in its data or in any trading account whatsoever.
Where a page, a video, a message or a member of staff describes a result in the past
tense or in the present continuous, that description is a record of a simulation or of
an illustration, and it is not a representation that the same result is available to
you, or to anyone, in the future. Nothing on this site is a projection, a forecast, a
target or a guarantee of any outcome, and no statement should be read as one.
04Membership, billing cycles and cancellation
A seat is granted for the cycle stated at checkout, being either a quarterly cycle or an
annual cycle. The cycle begins when payment is verified, not when it is sent. Where a
payment is sent in the last hours of a promotion, the promotional terms quoted at the
moment the invoice was generated apply to that invoice and to that invoice only.
Renewal is manual unless the checkout states otherwise in writing. If a cycle lapses,
access to the terminal, the signal engines and any active mandate is paused and resumes
on the day the renewal is verified; the desk does not back-credit a paused period and
does not charge for it. You may cancel at any time by telling the desk in writing before
the next cycle opens. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not reverse a cycle that
has already begun, because the access that cycle buys has already been delivered.
Fees are quoted in US dollars. Where a checkout displays an equivalent in another
currency, that figure is a conversion computed from a public exchange-rate feed at the
moment the page was rendered and is provided for convenience; the obligation is the
dollar amount, and any difference caused by a rate movement or by a network fee is yours
to settle with the desk. Where a seat is upgraded mid-cycle, the desk credits the
unused portion of the current cycle against the new price at its own discretion and
states the credited figure in writing before the upgrade is verified.
05Funded account mandates
A funded mandate is a simulated allocation. Its size is published on the access table
and begins at ten thousand US dollars; the largest standard size is one hundred thousand
US dollars, and any figure above that is a custom mandate negotiated in writing. The
funded book is derived from the seat price by a published multiplier, displayed on the
tier card at the moment of purchase, and recorded in the checkout summary. We do not
change that multiplier retroactively for an existing mandate.
Every mandate carries a drawdown limit, a daily loss limit and a position-size rule. The
desk may close a simulated position that breaches a limit, may reduce the mandate size,
and may suspend a mandate that breaches a limit repeatedly. A breach does not by itself
end the membership: the terminal and the data stay available. Where a mandate is
suspended, the member may request a review in writing, and the desk answers with the
specific simulated fills that triggered the suspension.
You may not sell, sublicense, share, lend, pool or otherwise transfer a mandate, in
whole or in part, and you may not operate a mandate on behalf of a third party for a
fee. A mandate is personal to the member named on it. Where the desk reasonably believes
a mandate is being operated as a signal service for third parties, by more than one
person, or by software that the desk has not authorised, it may suspend the mandate
immediately pending review.
06Profit split and payouts
The profit split published for a seat, being ninety-two per cent at the entry size,
ninety-five per cent at the mid size and up to ninety-seven and a half per cent at the
top size, applies to simulated profit measured by the desk's own accounting over a
complete cycle. The desk absorbs simulated losses to the extent stated on the tier card;
where a card does not state that the desk absorbs losses, it does not.
A payout is released on request after a cycle closes, to a wallet address you control
and provide in writing, in the network you nominate. The desk pays standard network
fees on payouts. A payout request is a request: the desk verifies the address, verifies
that the cycle is closed, and confirms that no limit is under review. Where verification
cannot be completed, the desk says why and holds the request rather than sending it
blind.
Nothing in this clause promises a payout, because a payout depends on simulated profit
existing in the first place, and clause 09 explains why that may never happen. A payout
is never paid twice, and a request that has been paid is not reversible by either party
once the transaction is confirmed on the network you nominated.
07Deposits
A top-up may be made in any currency the cash desk lists, and the minimum is three
hundred US dollars equivalent. There is no maximum. The desk reserves the right
to price a top-up above ten thousand dollars as a custom mandate, which changes the
published split in your favour and is agreed in writing before payment.
Payments are accepted in crypto assets only, on the networks listed at checkout. You are
responsible for sending on the correct network, to the correct address, within the
payment window shown. A send on the wrong network, a send after the window closes, or a
send of an asset the checkout did not ask for, may be unrecoverable; the desk will try to
help trace it but cannot guarantee recovery, and a loss of that kind is not refundable.
The desk verifies each incoming transaction before a seat is activated. Verification is
manual by design. A payment made from a custodial exchange may carry no sender
information, in which case the desk matches your payment by amount, time and the order
reference the checkout showed you. Keep that reference. Where two payments arrive at almost the
same time for the same amount, the desk may ask you to confirm which one is yours before
crediting either.
Amounts are credited in dollars. A conversion from another currency is computed at the
rate the cash desk displayed when the request was generated, not at the rate on the day
the network confirms it, and a material movement between those two moments is borne by
the member. Where a payment is short of the invoiced amount, the desk credits the seat in
proportion to what arrived or asks for the difference, at its discretion.
The floor is published wherever an amount is typed, not only here. The cash desk will not
carry an amount below it to the checkout, and the deposit window in the terminal says what
the desk would credit instead. An amount below three hundred US dollars equivalent is
not credited and does not activate a seat. Where such a payment is sent anyway, the
desk treats it as a deposit on account, holds it against a later top-up that clears the
floor, and says so in writing; it is not refunded as a matter of routine, and the network
cost of returning it, where the desk returns it, is deducted from the amount.
08Withdrawals
A withdrawal request names a network, an amount and a payout address. The desk verifies
that the address belongs to the network named, and pays the standard network fee. What
you request is what you receive; a fee charged by the network is the desk's cost and is
not deducted from your amount.
Requests are settled in the order received, normally within twenty-four hours and never
on a public holiday where the desk has said it is closed. A request may be held where
the destination address is on a sanctions list, where the request appears to be the product of unauthorised access to a member's device, or where the desk is required by
law to hold it. Where a request is held, the desk tells the member in writing and gives
a reason that is as specific as the law allows.
Where an address is wrong through no fault of the desk, the transaction is on the public
ledger and cannot be recalled by anyone. The desk will provide the transaction hash and
any information a receiving service may need, and will not be liable for the value lost.
This is the single most common way a member loses money at any desk, which is why the
cash desk repeats the warning beside the address field.
09Risk disclosure
Leveraged trading in gold, in currencies and in crypto assets carries a high risk of
loss. You can lose the entire book, and you can lose more than the book where a venue
gap or a stop fill beyond your level produces it. The funded book is sized at full
margin in the terminal's simulation, which means a move of one per cent against a
hundred-fold position consumes the entire notional allocation. That is a real property
of the position sizes shown on this site; it is not a decoration.
Past performance, whether simulated or real, is not a reliable indicator of future
results. A backtest is an argument about the past, made with data that has already been
cleaned, corrected and labelled. The market that produces tomorrow's candle has not been
cleaned, corrected or labelled, and it does not know what your stop is. Where a chart on
this site shows a smooth curve, that smoothness is a property of the accounting, not a
property of the market.
Before using anything you see here with your own capital, satisfy yourself that you
understand the instrument, the venue, the margin mechanics, the funding costs and your
own tolerance for drawdown. If you do not, do not trade. If a result you read here
matters to a decision you are about to make, ask the desk for the underlying data and
check it yourself; the desk will provide the snapshot and the code path that produced
it.
Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument, in any size, at
any time. The signal engines are rule sets, not advisers. A checklist that scores a
setup is not a person who knows the future, and it is not a promise that the setup will
work.
10No investment advice, no fiduciary duty
The desk does not provide investment advice, portfolio management, brokerage, custody,
tax advice or legal advice, and does not act as your agent. No relationship of adviser
and client, of trustee and beneficiary, or of fiduciary of any kind arises from your use
of this page, from any message exchanged with the desk, or from any payment made
through the checkout.
Views, checklists, annotations, chat replies and commentary published here are the
desk's own opinion, offered without a duty to update them, and are not tailored to your
circumstances. Where a member of staff discusses a market, an instrument or a strategy,
that discussion is educational and general. It is not a solicitation, a recommendation
or a personal advice service.
11Market data
Historical and live-looking prices come from public exchange and reference feeds, and
from snapshots the desk stores locally for the terminal to replay. Feeds are provided
"as is": they may be delayed, sampled, incomplete, restated or withdrawn without
notice. Instruments tagged LIVE are drawn from a public feed; instruments tagged
SIM are produced by the desk's local simulation, and are labelled as such on
every panel that shows them.
You may not scrape, redistribute, resell, rebroadcast, sublicense or systematically
extract the desk's data, its snapshot files, its derived timeframes, its signal output
or its analytics, whether by hand, by script, by model training or by any automated
means. A single member may read the data through the terminal for their own use, and may
screenshot what they see. Nothing more is granted.
12STQuant terminal and backtests
The STQuant terminal is a replay and analysis tool. It reads a stored gold snapshot,
derives higher timeframes from it, and reports what a fixed rule set would have done on
bars that have already printed. Two rows are shown side by side and must not be
confused. The hindsight row is allowed to look at bars that come after the entry:
it buys the low of a window and sells the high of a window, so it looks immaculate and
cannot be traded by anyone, including the desk. The fitted row may not look at
anything that had not already printed when the decision would have been made, and it is
the only row that is allowed to be believed.
Backtest results depend on assumptions that are choices, not facts: the fill model, the
cost model, the slippage on a stop, the treatment of gaps, the quarantine of bars a
venue never really traded, and the split of history into a training window and a
hold-out. Change any of them and the numbers change. The desk publishes its assumptions
and its hold-out results, including the ones that look bad, and it publishes the code
path that produced them so a member can re-run the numbers on their own machine.
A backtest that has no edge out of sample is not a product to be sold, and the desk will
say so where that is the finding. Where a headline figure on the terminal comes from the
hindsight row, the row is labelled as a demonstration on the panel itself, and the row
that can be traded sits next to it for comparison.
13Performance figures and illustrations
Every performance figure on this site is illustrative unless it is expressly attributed
to a live feed on the panel that shows it. Where a figure is produced by simulation, it
is a record of what a model did, not a record of what a member earned. Where a figure is
described as funded, it is measured against a notional allocation and not against money
received.
Charts, badges, counters, tickers, wallpaper text and the terminal's tape are partly
decorative. A number that moves on a screen is not evidence of a position, a fill or a
balance. Where a panel carries a label such as SIM, DEMO, ILLUSTRATIVE or NOT PERFORMANCE,
that label controls the reading of everything on the panel.
14Referral and partner programme
A member may hold a referral entitlement, which pays a share of the membership fee paid
by members introduced through their link, according to the schedule published on the
partner desk. A referral credit accrues only on a payment that has been verified and
only for a member who remains within the terms of the desk. Referral credit may be
withheld, adjusted or reversed where an introduced member's payment is charged back,
reversed, or found to be the product of a false identity.
Referral links may be shared publicly, but may not be placed on search-engine-advertised
branded keywords, in pop-up or pop-under traffic, in incentivised traffic offering a
reward for signup, in cookie-stuffed placements, or alongside content that is unlawful,
misleading or that imitates the desk. Self-referral, the use of more than one identity
per person, and the artificial generation of signups are prohibited, and the desk may
reclaim credit obtained that way.
A referral credit is not a wage, not employment, not a partnership and not a franchise.
The referring member is an independent person who accepted these terms, is responsible
for their own tax, and has no authority to bind the desk, to quote a price, to offer a
guarantee, or to describe themselves as an employee, agent or representative of the
desk. The desk may change the referral schedule prospectively at any time; a change
never affects credit already accrued.
15HackTools entitlement
Where a seat includes HackTools premium, the entitlement covers the tools, templates and
research material listed on the partner desk for the duration of the cycle. The
entitlement is personal, non-transferable and revocable, and it is not a licence to
attack, probe or interfere with any system you do not own or have written permission to
test.
Tools supplied under this clause are provided for lawful security research, education
and defensive testing only. You are solely responsible for the lawful use of anything
you download, and for any consequence of using it. Where a tool is used against a third
party without authorisation, the desk will cooperate with lawful requests from the
affected party and from the authorities, and may terminate the entitlement without
refund.
Where the entitlement includes the Android build, the desk serves the file from its own
pages and prints the version and the size it is serving beside the button, so the build
you download is the build the page names. Installing software from outside a store is your
decision and your device: the desk states the Android versions the build supports and does
not claim that any store has reviewed it. A build the desk withdraws stops being served,
and the published version stops advancing with it.
16Acceptable use and prohibited conduct
You must not, and must not permit anyone using your access to:
- copy, decompile, reverse engineer, resell or white-label the terminal, the engines or any part of the service;
- use the service to break any law, to launder value, to evade sanctions, or to fund anything unlawful;
- share credentials, session tokens or seat access with anyone, or operate a seat as a group service;
- attack, overload, probe or scrape the site, its endpoints or its infrastructure, or circumvent any rate limit or access control;
- publish invented results, invented screenshots or invented testimonials about the desk, or present this demonstration as an audited record;
- impersonate the desk, its staff or another member, in any channel, for any reason;
- upload malicious code, or use the chat service to distribute malware, phishing links or unsolicited advertising;
- harass, threaten, dox or defraud another member, a member of staff, or any third party;
- use the service from a jurisdiction where doing so is prohibited, or on behalf of a person who is prohibited from doing so.
A breach of this clause may lead to immediate suspension, to the loss of any seat and any
entitlement attached to it, and, where the law requires or permits it, to a report to
the competent authority. The desk may also recover from the member any cost it incurs
because of the breach, including the cost of mitigating an attack or of responding to a
lawful demand produced by it.
17Account security
Where the site offers a sign-in, you are responsible for the credentials, the device and
the network you use to reach it. Use a unique password, keep the recovery channel under
your own control, and tell the desk immediately if you believe a credential has been
exposed. The desk never asks for a seed phrase, a private key or a wallet password, and
anyone who does is not the desk.
The desk may suspend a session, force a re-authentication or lock a seat where it sees
activity consistent with a takeover. Where the desk suffers a security incident that
affects member data, it will state plainly what happened, what was affected and what a
member should do, and it will not describe the incident in language designed to be
unreadable.
18Privacy and personal data
The desk asks for as little as it can. A visit to the public pages stores nothing on a
server of ours: there is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no third-party tracker and
no cross-site identifier. Where you sign in, the identity provider holds your email
address and a display name; that is the entire profile, unless you send more in a
message.
Where you send payment details in a chat in order to be verified, those details are used
to verify the payment and are retained only as long as a competent authority may ask for
them. You may ask, at any time, what is held about you, ask for a copy, ask for a
correction, or ask for deletion, and the desk answers within thirty days. Where a
deletion request collides with a record the desk must keep by law, the desk says which
record and why.
Data is transmitted over TLS. Anything stored in this browser — the currency you chose
and the panel states described in clause 19 — stays in this browser; clearing site data
deletes it, and the desk cannot restore it. Where a member is in the European Economic Area, the United
Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil, or any other region granting comparable rights, the desk
honours those rights in full and does not treat them as a request for a favour.
19Cookies, local storage and browser state
The site uses browser storage for things that must survive a refresh: the currency you
chose, the tabs you last opened, the collapse state of a panel. None of it is sent to
us, none of it is a balance, and none of it is a claim against the desk. It is a
convenience copy that lives on your device.
The cash desk keeps no running record of payments or requests on your device: it shows
an order reference with the request you are sending, and shows it once. The desk's own
record of a verified payment is the record that controls, and where anything you hold
disagrees with it, the desk's record wins and the desk will show it to you on request.
20Intellectual property
The desk's name, marks, logo, page designs, terminal interface, generated artwork,
written copy, checklist logic, engine code, snapshot files and derived data all remain
the property of the desk or of its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable,
non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view the pages and use the terminal for your
own personal, non-commercial purpose while your seat is in good standing.
Feedback, bug reports and suggestions you send may be used by the desk without
obligation, attribution or payment, and you grant the desk a perpetual licence to do so.
You retain ownership of anything you create yourself, including your own journal, your
own notes and your own analysis, and the desk claims no rights over them.
21Third-party services and links
The site links to and depends on services the desk does not control, including exchange
price and market-data feeds, font and script delivery, an identity provider, a video
platform and the crypto networks used for payment. The desk is not responsible for the
availability, accuracy, terms or conduct of any of them, and a link is not an
endorsement.
Where a third-party service changes its terms, its price or its API in a way that breaks
a feature, the desk will attempt to repair the feature or to say on the page that it is
unavailable. The desk will not invent a number to fill a gap left by a feed that has
stopped answering.
22Availability, maintenance and force majeure
The service is offered on an "as available" basis. The desk may suspend it for
maintenance, for a migration, for a security response, or because a dependency outside
its control has failed. The desk aims for continuous availability but does not promise
it, and does not promise a particular latency, uptime figure or data-refresh rate.
The desk is not liable for a failure caused by something outside its reasonable control,
including a natural event, a network or power failure, an act of a government, a
sanctions measure, a change in law, a failure of a public feed or a host, a cyber-attack,
or a labour dispute. Where such an event continues for more than sixty days, either
party may end the arrangement and the desk will refund the unused portion of a cycle
that could not be delivered.
23Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the desk is not liable for indirect, incidental,
special, punitive or consequential loss, for lost profit, lost opportunity, lost data or
lost goodwill, whether the claim is framed in contract, in tort, in statute or
otherwise, and whether or not the desk was told such loss was possible.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, the desk's total aggregate liability to a
member is limited to the membership fees that member actually paid in the twelve months
before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this clause limits liability for
fraud, for wilful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
You accept that the amounts payable for a seat are set on the basis of the exclusions
and limitations in these terms, and that the desk would not offer the seat at that price
without them. Where a jurisdiction does not allow some part of this clause to operate, it
operates to the greatest extent that is permitted there, and the rest of these terms
continues in force.
24Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the desk, its staff and its contractors harmless against
any claim, loss, cost or expense, including reasonable legal cost, arising from your
breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, your infringement of a third party's
rights, your use of a tool supplied under clause 15, or a representation you make about
the desk that these terms do not authorise.
The desk will tell you promptly about any claim it seeks to have indemnified, will give
you the opportunity to participate in the defence where it is reasonable to do so, and
will not settle a claim in a way that admits your wrongdoing without your agreement.
25Suspension and termination
The desk may suspend or end a seat where these terms are breached, where a payment is
reversed, where a legal or regulatory requirement compels it, or where continuing would
expose the desk or another member to risk. Where the desk ends a seat for its own
convenience rather than because of a breach, it refunds the unused portion of the
current cycle pro rata and says so in writing.
You may end your seat at any time by telling the desk in writing. On termination, access
to the terminal, the engines, the entitlement and any active mandate ends; referral
credit already accrued and payable is settled to the wallet on file; your journal and
your notes, being stored in your browser, remain yours.
Clauses that by their nature should survive termination do survive it, including those
covering risk disclosure, intellectual property, liability, indemnity and governing law.
26Complaints
A complaint should be sent in writing to the desk's published contact, with the
reference of the payment or the mandate it concerns. The desk acknowledges a complaint
within five business days and answers it within thirty days, or says why it needs longer
and when an answer will come.
Where a complaint is about a simulated result, the answer will include the rule that
produced it, the parameters in force at the time and the data window that was used, so
the member can check the answer rather than accept it. If a complaint shows that a
published figure was wrong, the desk corrects the figure on the page and notes the
correction; it does not quietly change the number.
27Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction the desk names at the foot of
this page, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any formal
proceeding, both sides agree to attempt to resolve the matter in writing for at least
thirty days, using the complaint route in clause 26.
Where a matter cannot be resolved, it is decided by the courts of that jurisdiction, and
each side bears its own costs unless the law or the court orders otherwise. Nothing in
this clause removes a consumer right to bring a claim before a court where they live,
where that right cannot lawfully be waived.
28Changes to these terms
The desk may change these terms. A change that reduces a member's rights takes effect on
the next cycle and is announced by the revision stamp at the top of this section; a
change that is required by law takes effect when the law does. The revision stamp shows
the date and the clause count of the version you are reading.
A member who does not accept a change may end the seat before the next cycle opens and
keeps the access already paid for until that cycle ends. Continuing to use the service
after a change takes effect is acceptance of it.
29General
Where any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest
continues in force. A failure to enforce a clause is not a waiver of it. You may not
assign your rights under these terms; the desk may assign its rights to a successor,
with notice on this page.
These terms, together with the price and split published at the moment of purchase and
any written custom mandate, are the entire agreement between you and the desk, and they
replace anything discussed before. A notice is valid where it is sent to the contact
published in clause 45, or, from the desk to you, to the address you used to sign in or
the channel you used to write to it.
This page is published in English. Where a translation is offered, it is a courtesy and
the English text controls any question of meaning. The clause headings, the contents
list and the revision stamp are part of the document for navigation and do not limit the
text of a clause.
30Support and response times
Support is reached through the channel published in the site footer and on the checkout
screen. It is answered by a person, in the order received, and the desk's target is two
business days for an ordinary question and five for anything that needs a record pulled
out. Where a question concerns a payment, quote the reference the checkout showed you;
where it concerns a funded book, quote the mandate handle. Both of those are what let an
answer be found without asking you to repeat yourself.
Three things are treated as urgent and are picked up the same day: a payment the desk has
held, a session the member believes has been taken over, and a withdrawal that has passed
its window. Everything else waits its turn, including a request for a strategy opinion,
which is answered under clause 10 or not at all.
Support will never ask for a seed phrase, a private key, a wallet password or a payment to
a new address, and will not ask a member to install a remote-access tool. A message that
does any of those is not from the desk, whatever it says in its profile picture. Where a
question cannot be answered by support, it is escalated inside the desk and answered as a
complaint under clause 26.
31Verification and premium entitlement
Where a seat or a partner entitlement is claimed as already bought — the premium
verification offered on the desk page, and the form the desk hands out directly — the
check is manual. You attach one proof of purchase, your HackTools ID and a phone number
that reaches you; the desk reads the proof against the partner's own records and answers
within twenty-four hours. Nothing you send is published, and nothing is passed to the
partner beyond what the check itself needs.
A proof that cannot be read, that names another person, or that has already been used for
another seat is refused with a reason, and may be sent again. Verification is not a sale,
not a subscription and not a statement that the tooling is fit for any purpose: it
confirms entitlement only, and the entitlement stays personal, non-transferable and
revocable under clause 15. A verification obtained with a forged, edited or shared proof
is withdrawn, and the seat it was attached to may be ended under clause 25.
Proofs are kept only for as long as a dispute or an audit window lasts and are then
deleted; the member may ask for the deletion of a proof before that, and the desk will
confirm what it removed. Verification carries no fee, and no fee is charged to check it
again after a refusal.
32Cashier and checkout access
The cash desk and the checkout are member-only pages. They do not open without a session:
a reader who reaches them without one is sent to the sign-in page and returned to the page
they asked for once signed in. Sign-in is provided by a third-party identity provider
described in clause 21, and the desk keeps no password of yours — no page on this site has
ever asked for one, and none will.
A session lives in the browser it was created in. Clearing site data, switching browser,
switching device or losing the identity provider's cookie ends the access on its own, and a
session the desk believes has been taken over is ended early under clause 17. A session is
not a payment method, not a wallet and not a key to be shared: it identifies you to the
desk and does nothing else. Sharing it is a breach of clause 16.
Pages that show market data — the desk, the terminal and this document — need no session
at all, and the desk will say so in a revision of this page before any of them becomes
member-only, under clause 28.
33Community room and member conduct
The community room is part of the demonstration. It opens with the page by default,
shows the members it says are present, and streams its backlog as the clock passes each
line. Reading it needs no seat; posting does, and the composer says so. What you post is
yours — you keep the copyright in it and grant the desk a licence to display, archive and
quote it in the room and in support — and you are responsible for it being lawful,
accurate and yours to post.
Lines written in another language are shown with a short English gloss beside them, added
by the desk. The gloss is there so the room stays readable to everyone in it; it is not a
certified translation, and where a gloss and its line appear to disagree, the line is the
record. The desk may correct or remove a gloss without touching the line under it.
The room is not advice, not a signal service and not a marketplace. Solicitations,
referral spam, recruitment, price promises, impersonation and the sharing of another
member's personal data are breaches of clause 16, and a room used that way may be closed
to the member who used it. The desk removes a line where it must, may suspend posting for
a period instead of ending a seat, and does not read the room to police opinion — only to
keep it usable and lawful.
34Leaderboard, statistics and illustrative desk data
Every member figure this site publishes — the leaderboard, the roster, the count of
traders online, the payout strip, the desk feed and the room's backlog — is drawn from one
dataset written for this demonstration. It is computed as a function of the calendar and
the clock. It is not sampled from accounts, and no row of it is a real person's result.
It is the same board for everyone. There is no per-visitor personalisation, nothing
reshuffles on a reload, and a member's figure moves on the desk's daily roll-over rather
than between two reads of the same day. The seats it lists are the funded books and the
real-money accounts; a seat that is only partly funded is not listed at all, and a
demonstration seat is not listed at all. Where a page shows a statistic without a person
attached to it, that figure comes from the same dataset and is asserted against it.
The names, handles, avatars, messages and results in that dataset are invented for the
demonstration. They are not a record of real traders, real profits or an audited track
record, and quoting them as one is prohibited by clause 16. Where the desk ever publishes
a real, audited figure, it will say that it is one and link the source beside it.
35Beta features, replays and labelled demonstrations
Parts of the service are published as previews, replays or simulations: the STQuant
replay, the backtest engine, the order-ticket tools, the generated imagery on the desk
page and anything labelled SIM, REPLAY or BETA. These carry no
availability promise. A preview may change, be rebuilt, or be withdrawn without notice,
and its label is part of the feature: an instrument tagged SIM is produced by the desk's
own simulation, and an instrument tagged LIVE is drawn from a public feed.
What a replay computes is a statement about stored history, cleaned and labelled after
the fact, and it is not a promise about a live market under clause 09. A feature withdrawn
while a cycle is running does not extend the cycle and does not change what it costs; a
withdrawal is announced on this page and in the panel that used to hold the feature, and
the desk does not bill for a preview it has taken away.
36AI-assisted features
The desk publishes assistant features — the trade assistant on the ticket, the setup
summaries, the annotation tools. Depending on the feature, the answer is produced by rules
held on the desk's own side or by a third-party model reached over the network, and the
panel that offers it says which. An answer can be incomplete, stale, generic or plainly
wrong. It is generated from the instrument, the timeframe and the data in front of it, and
it knows nothing about your book, your obligations or your tolerance for loss.
An assistant's output is not advice under clause 10, not a signal under clause 12 and not
a fact. Where a request goes to a third party, the desk sends only what the request needs
and does not send your identity or your payment details; the third party's own terms,
listed under clause 21, apply to that leg of the trip. Do not type a seed phrase, a
private key, a password, an address or anyone's personal data into an assistant field —
the desk never asks for any of them, and anything typed there may be logged by the model
that answers.
37Automated access and rate limits
The pages, the simulation and the datasets are published for people reading them.
Automated reading, scraping, mirroring, bulk download of the stored history, or the use of
anything here to train or evaluate another model needs the desk's written permission, and
a redistribution right is never granted by implication under clause 11. The desk applies
rate limits to protect the site, and a limit may be raised on request for a member's own
use, in writing, without changing the terms.
Where traffic from one source degrades the site for everyone else, the desk may slow it,
block it or answer it with a refusal page, without notice and without a refund of anything
attached to it. A block is not the end of a seat by itself; a seat used to mount an
automated campaign against the desk or against another service through the desk's pages is
suspended under clause 16, and the desk will say which of the two has happened.
38Sanctions, prohibited persons and source of funds
You confirm that you are not the subject of a sanctions list, that you are not acting for
a person who is, and that you are not in a jurisdiction where this service is prohibited.
The desk may ask what the value you send consists of and where it came from, and may
decline, hold or return a payment where the answer is missing or unconvincing. Where a
payment is returned, it goes back to the address it arrived from, less any network cost
the desk has already paid.
The desk answers lawful requests from competent authorities, and may hold a seat, a
withdrawal and the entitlement attached to it while an enquiry is open. Where the law
allows it to say so, it tells the member that a hold is in place and why, and it never
describes a hold as a technical delay. A member who believes a hold is wrong may complain
under clause 26 while the hold continues.
39Tax
You are responsible for every tax your use of this service attracts in your own
jurisdiction — income, capital gains, value added, withholding or any other. The desk does
not withhold tax for you, does not report to a tax authority on your behalf, and does not
give tax advice under clause 10. Figures published on this site are stated before tax.
The cash desk lists the payments it has recorded, and a summary may be requested for your
own records; it is a statement of what the desk recorded, not a tax document, not a
valuation for a return, and not a substitute for your own books. Keep your payment
references: they are what the desk matches a payment against, and they are what a
conversation with a tax authority will ask for.
40Notices
A notice to the desk goes through the support channel published in the site footer, and,
where it concerns a payment, quotes the payment reference the checkout showed you. A
notice from the desk goes to the address you signed in with or to the channel you wrote
from, and is treated as received when it is sent. Keep that contact current; a notice sent
to an address that has stopped working is still a notice.
Where the desk must give notice of a suspension, a hold, a refusal or a revision, it does
so in writing and gives a reason. A message that claims to be from the desk but does not
come from one of the channels named on the checkout screen is not a notice from the desk,
and the desk never sends a notice asking for a seed phrase, a private key, a password or a
payment to a new address. Clause 17 says the same thing from the other side.
41Service levels, maintenance and downtime
The desk aims to settle within the windows these terms name, to keep the sign-in working
and to keep the pages and the simulation reachable. Those are targets and not a guaranteed
service level. Maintenance is normally done outside the hours the desk says it is open and
is announced where the notice is the desk's to give; an emergency change is announced
afterwards, with what was done.
The simulated book is not a position held anywhere: an outage costs you the view, not a
trade, because the desk holds nothing of yours (clause 03). Nothing is owed for a period
the site was unreachable, except the billing remedy clause 04 already gives for a
cancelled cycle. Where an outage prevents a withdrawal request from being made inside a
window these terms state, the window is extended by the length of the outage, counted from
the moment the desk announced it.
42Recording and monitoring of communications
Messages sent to the community room, to support, or through a form on this site are kept,
so that a complaint can be answered and a suspected breach can be investigated. A
recording is read for those purposes, for moderation, and to answer a lawful request under
clause 38. The desk does not sell it, does not use it for advertising, and does not hand
it to a partner; access inside the desk is limited to the people who need it for one of
those purposes.
Where the desk answers a lawful request that names a member, it tells the member that it
has done so, unless the law forbids the telling. A member may ask what the desk holds
about them and receive an answer under clause 18; a request to delete a line is honoured
where no complaint, dispute or legal duty keeps it alive.
43Assignment and change of control
The desk may assign, transfer or novate these terms, a seat and any entitlement attached
to it to a successor, with notice published on this page. The successor takes the seat on
the terms published at the moment of the transfer, and the desk answers for the period
before it. Where the desk disposes of the programme as a whole, the published revision
travels with it, and nothing in the transfer shortens a cycle the member has already paid
for.
You may not assign your rights under these terms, sublicense a seat, or transfer an
entitlement to another person; a transfer attempted in breach of this clause has no effect
between you and the desk and is a breach of clause 16.
44Independent parties, survival and third-party rights
The desk and the member are independent parties. Nothing in these terms creates a
partnership, an agency, a joint venture or a relationship of employment between them, and
neither may bind the other. A person who is neither the desk nor the member has no right
to enforce any clause of this document.
Where these terms end, whatever the reason, the clauses that have to outlive them
continue to apply: risk disclosure (09), privacy and data (18), intellectual property
(20), liability (23), indemnity (24), governing law (27), illustrative desk data (34),
tax (39), this clause and the acceptance recorded in clause 45. Ending a seat does not
cancel a payment already settled, a payout already owed, or a duty that arose before it
ended.
45Contact and acceptance
The desk's contact for anything in these terms is the support channel published in the
site footer and on the checkout screen. Quote the payment reference where your question
concerns a payment, and the mandate handle where it concerns a funded book.
By funding a seat, by paying an invoice, by ticking a consent box at checkout, or by
continuing to use the terminal after a revision of these terms takes effect, you confirm
that you have read and understood every clause above, that you accept them, that you are
eligible under clause 02, and that you understand the risk disclosure in clause 09, the
illustrative nature of the desk data in clause 34 and the demonstration nature of the
service stated in clause 03.
Revision 2026.09 · 45 clauses · effective from the date this page last changed ·
supersedes all earlier revisions. This document is long on purpose: it is the only place
where the desk's obligations to you are written down in full, and the clauses past 30 are
the ones that describe the site you are actually looking at — the verification, the
member-only cashier, the room, the board and the data behind all three.
