   The three Inter cuts shipping in `public/fonts/` are the body face on every
   page: the desk, the terminal, the cashier, the checkout and the auth screens
   all ask for `Inter` and, until this file existed, fell back to whatever the
   system had — or, on `index.html`, waited for a round trip to Google to get a
   font that was already sitting in the repo.

   Self-hosting it is not a style choice, it is a privacy one. The site tells
   members there is no third-party request and no tracker, and a webfont fetched
   from someone else's CDN is exactly that: an outbound request carrying the
   visitor's IP and Referer on every page view, for a file we already own.

   The display faces (Tektur, Orbitron, Rajdhani, Exo 2, JetBrains Mono) are
   still requested from Google by `index.html`, where they are decorative and a
   fallback is harmless. The body face is where the reading happens, so it is
   the one that ships locally.

   Each face is listed twice: WOFF2 first, `.ttf` second. The woff2 files are
   built from the ttfs by `scripts/make-fonts.mjs` (npm run fonts) and are 62%
   smaller — 354 KB for all three weights instead of 920 KB, which `trade.html`
   and `cash.html` were paying in full on every cold load. The ttf stays listed
   for a browser that cannot read WOFF2, so the face never disappears; a
   browser that can read woff2 never asks for the ttf.

   `font-display: swap` matters here: the face paints in the fallback first and
   swaps when the file lands, so a slow connection never shows blank text.
   Preloading is left to the pages, which already preload what they need.
